Right after his first two EP's on MEANT RECORDS, and the support of many other worldclass DJs such as RICHIE HAWTIN, MISS KITTIN, IVAN SMAGGHE, EWAN PEARSON or CHLOE, REMAIN delivers us the last part of his musical and visual triptych: SPREAD/RASH EP. http://www.myspace.com/remainmusic TRACKLIST: A/SPREAD This epic anthem shows a new side of REMAIN's influences: his pop one. With many references like the Chemical Brothers for the tones, REMAIN leads the crowd to a space odyssey that all the monthly club nights will remember. SPREAD is for sure a peak time anthem, that every kind of musician would want to play live. The Track will give you a glimpse of REMAIN's new direction... B/RASH In Washington Irving's novel, Sleepy Hollow (adapted for the screens by Tim Burton), the image of a horse breathing heavily and loudly, first comes to mind, then hitting the ground before bucking across the filled smoke cemetery! Listen to the introduction of the track, and you'll feel the horse's breath, expect the bass pattern to make you move. Can you feel it? RASH shows us where REMAIN comes from for sure. C/RASH REMIXED BY TIM PARIS TIM PARIS (founder of Marketing Music & half of the It's a fine line project) makes no concessions. Meant has been engineered to produce music you can hear either in a club or at home. TIM provides this part of REMAIN's EP, where every detail of the very high level production is a part of your journey in a coach or on the dancefloor. D/RASH REMIXED BY ELECTRIC RESCUE (DIGITAL EXCLUSIVE) It's a pleasure for us to welcome ELECTRIC RESCUE in the MEANT crew. It's been a while since we're following his releases on record labels such as Skryptöm (his own imprint) but also Cocoon, Harthouse...His ability to absorb REMAIN's subtle universe gives a dirty late night rendering of RASH. His twisted sound-design will blow your mind away. Supports/Playlists DJs: Richie Hawtin, Laurent Garnier, Ivan Smagghe, Ewan Pearson, Chloé, Dyed Soundorom, Slam, Brodinski, Télépopmusik, Remote, Rob Mello, Llorca (Art Of Tones), Norman Methner (Label Manager International Deejay Gigolo), Alex Valera, Press/Radio: - James Huxley (pulse radio, AUS): Playlist October - 'DIVERSIONS' (CHRY 105.5FM, TORONTO, CANADA): Playlist november - Tsugi (Fr): Review in november + focus on REMAIN in december - Christopher Colak (Acid Radio/Dinamo.fm): Carefully chosen remixers.
