Gazeebo International once again joins forces with some of England's finest dance music producers. This time around we are graced with the talents of London's own Jason Slater & Woody or better known to you record jocks as 'This Is A Recording'. For those who may not be familiar, Jason & Woody have been serving up there obsessive disco concoctions since they first crossed paths as DJs during the height of the legendary warehouse parties in the East London music scene. Shortly after they formed the acclaimed OCD (Obsessive Compulsive Disorder) club nights then naturally turned OCD into a record label officially solidifying they're role in London's dance community. In the wake of an ever-growing dance scene fueled by more and more glorified plagiarism, Jason & Woody are cruising down the road less travelled and carving a niche all they're own. The one thing that we love about these guys is that they come armed with guitars and they are not afraid to use them. They first caught our attention with they're stellar single "Montesa" which came out last summer on OCD Records. If you haven't heard it we strongly suggest that you go to Juno and have a listen. "Southern Neon Lights" combines a perfectly blended mix of cosmic and edgy vibes. Guitars, percussion, synthesizers, fat beats, depth and class... what more could we ask for! The original mix serves as a taste of what's to come from London's cosmic duo, and from some of the recent promos we've heard you would be wise to keep OCD on your radar for 2012. And in keeping with traditions around here Gazeebo joins in on the fun and delivers another one of his delightfully unpredictable remixes. This time he picks up the tempo and drops the funk while capitalizing on the lads wicked guitars. Gazeebo was also nice enough to include some bonus beats for your mixing pleasure. "Southern Neon Lights" drops February 23rd exclusively on Juno, Beatport & Traxsource. Keep an eye out for more collaborations from Gazeebo & This Is A Recording later this year.
