Phela 011 'Sounds of Nature' continues that trend and sees Pete in his Stylus Trouble guise dropping another devastating acid groove. Crisp snare rolls and warped metallic sound efx, work together with sweeping synths and a computerized vocal to create a dramatic and powerful cut. Once again Pete provides us with an alternative to the original in the form of the Dub version, a far more 'heads down', driving mix and the Stripped Down Beats Dub. Which, as the title suggests, strips back the original, creating a far more minimal-tech version.
