UK-based DJ/Producer and all around nu-giant of Soulful House, Sean McCabe, has come on board to pick 22 distinctive cuts & do the second edition of King Street's newest comp series, Soulful House Journey. On the heels of the very first successful edition by one of the genre's master craftsman Frankie Feliciano, Sean scores his soulful stripes by making him one of the most sought-after producers of the genre, by way of producing and playing out numerous sweet & sensational songs, Many were produced for King Street which he uses on this comp like his collab with Stephanie Cooke for "Thinkin I'm Beautiful" and new "Just A Little Bit," Kimara Lovelace's "I Luv You More" (Sean McCabe Demo Mix) and Fuminori Kagajo feat. Adeola Ranson revered "Piece Of Heaven" (Sean McCabe Unreleased Paradise Dub Mix). Not only does Sean go deep deep deep down inside the musical well, resurfacing with some of the most classic tunes like Groove Box's "The More You Want" (MAW Flava Mix), Carlton's "Can't Be Without"(Damier and Trent Prescription Mix), Kerri Chandler (& very early Dennis Ferrer) "All About Love," and Danell Dixon's "Love Is So Nice" (The Pound Boys Reunion Vocal), Urban Soul's "What Do I Gotta Do" (Eric Kupper Club Mix) and some contemporary remixed classics like Mood II Swing's "Closer"(Spencer Parker's Unreleased A Gun For Hire Dub) he balances the comp out nicely by combining the neo & the classic.
