Alex Code started to get involved with the electronic music scene at the age of 16 years old. This year comes with a new EP on Insomniafm Abstracts with swung kicks and ticking hi-hats dancing like scraps of paper through a swirl of bowed strings and dubby clang. Sorrow Melody has 2 remixes, one from Zan Prevee a rough-cut tech and glowering bass to result in something altogether ruder. Looped chord samples take on a vibrating quality familiar from Insomniafm, and cycling piano cords and stuttering waves shots mirror their restless motion. The other remix comes from John D one of the progressively and deep house lighter, this one assumes its place at the center of the floor and opens its arms wide, climax personified.
