It was only a matter of time before the big-room side of VOCO emerged. It was always there lurking, like a flasher in a pac-a-mac. But not content with a floor rocking release the boys at VOCO put together a super quality package with deepness from Surco, tech-house from Darren Crook and a beautiful ambient shuffle from their own Leon Windsor.
Andy Moore and Tim Parker first met through mutual friends in 2006 and quickly realised they shared a mutual passion for all things house music. Having grown up on the dancefloor in the age of the superstar DJ their influences were firmly in the big-room; Roger Sanchez, Erick Morillo, Pete Tong and Danny Rampling. After a decade behind the decks they finally decided in 2009 to bring together 20 years of experience and Guilt 3 was bo! rn. Throughout 2010 the boys have been playing some of the UK's biggest clubs, The Ministry Of Sound, London Pacha and are booked throughout the summer both here and in Ibiza.
All three remixers successfuly adapt the original adding their own identity. Surco aka Matt Telfer - a name to watch out for - adds a tightly produced Tech House edge to proceedings. Darren Crook well known for his work alongside Damien Wilson for CR2, Nervous, Big In Ibiza - steps out for a solo outing and delivers a bumping groove which builds into a string driven sax climax guaranteed to go right off! Completing the package, Voco label manager Leon Windsor impresses once again with his lush down tempo take, demonstrating his wealth of experience producing tracks which have been signed to labels such as Perfecto, Fluid, Sony, Columbia.
