Effortlessly combining a party rocking blend of house, garage, and breakbeat, HeavyFeet are at the forefront of the bass music phenomenon. As the Manchester based duo continue to roll their ever-evolving sound out through a string of bass-heavy releases with some of the leaders of the game (Skint, Bingo and Passenger) and some of the cooler indie labels (Plant Music, Party Like Us and Nightshifters), 2010 is looking like their biggest year yet. With remixes also dropping for the likes of Roisin Murphy, DJ Zinc, Nick Thayer, Mele, Deekline, Two Fresh and KillaQueenz, HeavyFeet are set to make some noise as we close out 2010. Their first release for Plant Music is the "Sawdust & Sultanas" EP featuring four sunshine kissed house tracks with hooky vocals and garage bass lines. The EP opens with "Here We Go Again", a vocal hook driven garage track with more bounce and bass than a West Coast Lo Rider. "Got To Have You" is a more traditional house track with heavy synth pads and sexy female vocals and "Music High" is an uplifting Reggae influenced dance track that would sit perfectly in a Basement Jaxx DJ set. The EP closes with the bass line driven "For The Pain" another funky house track that will keep the floor dancing.
