The enigmatic and highly intelligent creature we all know as The Alien is back with some new results from his ongoing research on humanity. This time he presents 4 extracts from work he undertook during a period spent hovering above the East-African coast, where he embarked on the task of trying to dissect what some of us humans may plainly address as 'da riddim'. Instead of going for the usual abduction programme of simply hijacking living human specimen, foreseeing the nighmare scenario of having his spaceship filled to the rim with drums of all sizes and shapes, he rather decided to attempt to abduct rhythm in itself - utilizing technology new even to an advanced creature like himself. After a period of scanning and extracting samples from this field-work he then started to process the sounds with his very own hyper-logical approach. The results were of course stripped of all their original human emotions, but we must remember that this is all done in the name of process (and progress). The electro-tribal beats of 'Extract 1-4' evoke feelings of ancient cosmic ritual as much as earthly voodoo frenzy, and if we open our minds we might be able to one day understand the encoded wisdom from this intergalactic messenger contained within this work.
