Bon Chat, Bon Rat is as much chaotic and claustrophobic as it is inspiring. By warping conventional song structures and drawing on innovative instrument use, the result is a bold, memerising experience. Bon Chat, Bon Rat 'Remixed' features reworks from some of Europe's best up and coming producers playing with sounds of garage, bass, dubstep, and IDM. xxxy's production sound tip toes between house and bass music. A highlight of his body of work so far include a feature track on Fabric's critically aclaimed Elevator Music Vol. 1, his forward thinking and impressive mix for Fact Magazine and recent EP 'You Always Start It'. Fact named him as "one of the most promising lights of the pseudo-garage revival". The remix was so good that we had to include the instrumental. Dead Rose Music Company enter with a thumping, chugging remix of Bon Chat, Bon Rat's 'Map Of Sao Paulo'. DRMC are two gents that hail from the UK with cult underground releases on labels such as Wolf Music, Sleazy Beats and House Is The Cure. Their tunes have been supported by Soul Clap, Mark E, Chris Duckenfield and Horse Meat Disco amongst a number of other heads.Rounding it all off is German native Aera, with his awkwardly beautiful and bouncy remix of 'Tribes'. Aera has been manning synthesisers since he was 12 you wouldn't be surprised Resident Advisor would describe his music as "Forcefully vital tracks in a world filled with so much impotent house music, pretty much guaranteed to demolish a set for any DJ brave and adventurous enough to play them."
