From a young age Philipp Ort has been involved with music; learning to play several musical instruments in his early years, he still uses this experience to develop his personal style of music. His move to London in 2004, pushed him further in his productions and is improving his experience in the music industry. After the completion of the Electronic Music Production Course at SAE London, he decided to continue to explore the art of music recordings and productions with an Audio Engineering Diploma and even graduated from the BA (Honours) of Recording Arts at SAE London. In the past four years, Philipp has gained work experience in places such as the Fabric Studio in London, the Herbal Night Club and at SAE London. During that time he worked with several established Djs and Producers and collaborated in a remix of the song 'Gumba Fire' for the famous dance music record label 'Milk&Sugar' in Germany. Next to his impressive DJ sets in the USA, Switzerland, Latvia and Poland, Philipp Ort played at several popular club nights in London. His ability to play with different DJ equipment solutions and his main effort on Traktor and Ableton Live will most certainly support his career further in his DJ sets and productions. In Summer 2008 Philipp took the next step in his music career and setup his own record label Black&White Orange Records. With its successful launch and its first release on 1st September 2008 Philipp has already hit the top 10 on various download sites with some of his productions and was also nominated as the Artist of the Week on Beatsdigital.com. In 2010 Philipp Ort has been signed to Resopal Schallware in Berlin and has successfully released several original tracks and remixes. From this point on Philipp is working on various remixes and originals for labels such as Roots&Wings, Alive Recordings, Cimelde Records and many more. Since autumn 2009 Philipp Ort is running with Black&White Orange his own night FACELIFT in London where he plays as the resident DJ next to various established artists. Philipp Ort's House/Techno music is original, upfront, of high quality and most of all very recognizable. Philipp Ort has definitely raised the bar high. With several remixes and original productions at work, Philipp Ort will take a new approach to electronic dance music as a DJ and a Producer.
