Upcoming producer Tom Laws has been playing his cards right lately with releases on labels such as Phobiq, Ground Factory and Resopal Schallware, and here he is making his debut release on Respekt. The title track of the EP features familiar synth lines combined with tough drums and percussion, resulting in a menacing production. Meanwhile, the one and only Tom Hades transforms the original into a full on Techno affair, complete with an analog bassline and crashing hi-hats, taking this one straight to the rave. "Jugular" is more spaced out, featuring a militaristic, almost industrial edge that sets it apart from run-of-the mill tracks of the day, and to top it off, there are old-school synth stabs galore in this!
