Pressure Drop is a brand new series of EPs which will showcase Supernature's ever growing roster of talent from around the world, the first of which sees material from Gruber & Nürnberg, Matt Brown & Alex Moments, Pedramovich, Vlad Caia and Chris Lattner. Set up by Audiofly around three years ago, Supernature has developed a strong following and has attracted a wide range of new artists from Sheffields Pedramovic through to Mexicos Robbie Akbal and continues to be a draw for fresh talent. Germans Gruber & Nürnberg and Italian duo Matt Brown & Alex Moments provide some serious rolling percussive vibes in Counter Clockwise and Reaction respectively while the increasingly noteworthy Pedramovic turns the bass up on the decidedly old-school-meets-new-school Past Tense. After gaining many a fan from his output on Dinkys Horizontal label last year, Romanian new blood Vlad Caia delivers an excellent slice of liquid house in All Together Now while rising star Chris Lattner serves up the similarly subtle and engaging St Augustin. Each artist delivers something slightly different here yet the whole EP sounds very much like a Supernature release, a testament to the labels direction and A&R policy. Essential stuff.
