Chicago's Mike Dunn is no stranger to house music, he released his first record on the legendary Westbrook impring in 1987 (21 years ago!) and has had an illustrious career since, releasing classics such as the seminal "God Made Me Phunky". It was just a matter of time before we'd find him on Phil Weeks' Robsoul label, his style fits in perfectly: dark and dirty grooves aimed straight at the dancefloor. Two versions of "Phreaky MF" are on offer here and they both sound great thanks to plenty of acid flavors and hilariously dirty hip-house vocals.
