THE HYPE German producer Dirty Doering brings a minimal funky bounce to Perfumed Silence on this Chris Brann brainchild EP. Also known as Ptaah, this outfit has released many-an alternative electronic dance offering, as is the scope of Street King, the label its released on. The second single Tears and Light is literally the opposite in style, offered as a cinematic downtempo orchestral tune sung in English and in Japanese by Miho Hatori. Quite the masterpiece in its production and arrangement, mixed by fellow Japanese producer, Kuniyuki, whose Dub version brings the song out of the Garden Tea Party and back onto the dance floor.
