bassDrumsnareDrum is a producer and artist whose music showcases the talents of unsigned vocalists. Pause Rewind is the title track off his debut EP featuring the striking, delicate vocals of Betty Steeles. The two have been writing and recording together since early 2011, Betty is a seasoned performer (Reading Festival, The Secret Garden Party and regular London shows), while bassDrumsnareDrum (DJ Hero, Christina Aguilera, k.d.lang) spends his waking hours in the studio crafting beats. At the end of 2011 Pete Tong got hold of an upfront copy of Pause Rewind and played it two weeks running on his Radio 1 show. To accompany the release of the Pause Rewind EP, bassDrumsnareDrum presents this 4 track remix package. In addition to the original single, the package features mixes from Toby ioi (Tricky, Whiley, Tipper Irie, Zarif), Master Sifu, and a new mix by bassDrumsnareDrum.
