Having spent the last 2 years working on remixes for the likes of Delphic, Yeasayer and Kisses to name a few, Clancy is releasing his debut solo EP, PANTHER. Just off the back of releasing his Miroir EP with production partner Build, this is Clancy's first full original solo material. Flooded with disco-dance-electro influences, Panther EP is one for the dance floor ' heavily melody lead, each track is designed to engage the brain as well as the body. Title track `Panther' opens the EP with soaring synths and pumping drums, sewn together with some big bass and energy driven melodies. `4000 Shards' takes it up a notch delivering disco drums, brass stabs & big growling bass culminating in an epic `hands in the air' ending. With its moody intro `Bite The Lightning' adds some real teeth to the EP, analog bass, bright bells, and punching disco drums all help to create a melodic synth piece of electronic music. Remixes come from two of the brightest sparks going; Beaumont delivers something out of the ordinary in his now signature `can't put a genre to it' sound, massive bass, intelligent blips and a killer melody. StardonE comes in with something more organic, beautifully crafted live bass mixed with precise piano riffs make up a real nu-disco gem....
