Palermo Soho is a neighborhood in Buenos Aires, around Plaza Serrano. It is a newly fashionable area for fashion, design, restaurants, bars and street culture. The French producer Wally Stryk's spent a year living in Argentina and he picked this name for his EP to honor this city area.
Wally Stryk was born in Lorient, France and is his residency town now from where he runs Hermanie Records. On this EP he shows us the prefect harmony between tech house with deep feeling.
Palermo Soho is jazzy and techie mixed with a refine taste. It has a sample vocal from the classic of the 80's: The Maxx - Cocaine. Mon Amour includes sung speeches integrated to groovie percusions, perfect to use in a warm up.
Palermos Hollywood's remix is from the brasilian producer, Do Santos, who has received huge support from DJs such as: Richie Hawtin, Layo & Bushwacka, Tim Xavier and Djuma Soundsystem.
We are pleased to welcome two North American producers: Max Jacobson and Jason Patrick, both are originally from Detroit, and currently based in Chicago, two capital cities for electronic music. Jason runs the label Klectik Recordings where both artists' released music with big support from the scene. They made a remix of Mon Amour.
Enjoy the music and thank you for your support!More info:
