Seminal French Techno label Cobra Records has actually not released any material over the last year, but heading into 2006, we have 3 releases in the pipeline from this excellent label. First up is this release, cobra004, an original composition from label owner KILLIAN, entitled 'overwhelming', a track that continues in the style of some of 'primate recordings, finest moments, funky,tribal, loop techno, not a million miles away in sound from artists such as Marco Carola, Cave and Ben Sims. On the b-side , Slovenian superstar dj & producer, Valentino Kanzyani offers up a stunning remix in his own imitiable style, following on from recent strong remixes for punchfunk and tcp records. All in all, an excellent re-launch for the label, and you can expect equally impressive releases from the label over the coming months
