The Riff Raff crew is back with more quality calls of the wild. We are in the process of jumping in the latest member of our family and hazing him with notorious and outlandish pranks that would sicken even the toughest of the tough. So may we welcome you to the sounds of our dear brother Justin Baule. We found Justin on a stoop in an alley in Miami, he was wide eyed and hungry, so we took him to the hospital and nursed him back to health with strippers and booze. Now he works fine and can lay down some serious business in his tracks.
Justin Baule delivers two steamy and sexy cuts for his debut EP into this wonderful world of music we love. The title track "Once Again" is a deep and throbbing foray of swing, rhythm and dirty, dirty, bass lines. Well planned and thoughtful vocal samples push the groove and get the hips swinging, while gentle pads remain in the distance and add an air of mystery and depth to make this track unique and interesting.
For the second track "Rack City" Justin takes the groove to the outer deep, keeping his pace and consistency with his style, he supplies a laid back presentation of dance, but still keeps the party going, while loosening his grip on the beats and keeping a focus on the accompanying pads, Justin captures the beauty of dance in this simple and elaborate presentation.
On the remix tip, we are more than over joyed to have veteran producer Jay Tripwire lending his talent and skills to the label. Jay is not on point, only because he is so forward thinking with his production, and he only amazes us with this brilliant remix. Full of swirling and psychedelic color, a deep and moving groove, and an acid line that would melt the face of the pope himself, Jay's trademark style puts this EP far ahead, and above the dance floor.
So please enjoy this release, we are very happy and excited about this one.
