In spite of its name, there is nothing "out of the ordinary" about Polish producer K-Milian's sophomore effort on Silk. The warm bassline and "lazy Sunday" synth stabs create an inviting texture. Yet, the most prominent feature throughout the track is the lead arpeggio, a mesmerizing melody that evokes, perhaps, the 'oditi' of an outer-worldly encounter. Accomplished veteran Jaksa Pavicevic offers the most traditionally deep mix, replete with muted bass tones and jazzy percussion. In the innovative main break, a combination of deeply filtered world sounds and basses create the sensation of drifting into an uncharted wilderness. Rising Japanese star Kazusa offers an even more chilled, melodic, and atmospheric take. Seemingly inspired by the work of Arthur Deep and Embliss, Kazusa's mix will appeal to fans of a more "classic" melodic prog sound. Virtuoso Australian producer Approaching Black adds a clever vocal sample and infuses the original with a little extra rhythm and bass "chug," while still retaining the main melodic elements. Finally, Silk newcomer Salt Sweet, a duo hailing from Armenia, provide a percussively "snappy" remix, with a plethora of high and low synth stabs guiding the track to its conclusion.
