Alex Moments & Matt Brown deliver their first full EP for Supernature following a contribution to the Pressure Drop EP a few months back. Titled Odette and featuring remixes from H.O.S.H as well as two other original cuts from the Italian duo its a great debut on the label. Fans of the pairs Yakamoz release on Below last year won't be disappointed, as Odette sees them deliver more of their infectious bass heavy swing aimed squarely at the dancefloor. The title track weighs in at a hefty 12 minutes which makes for an epic listen, particularly as the groove is damn near perfect. Bubbling and warm, said groove locks you in while heavily reverbd vocals drift in and out with mesmerising effect. With just a handful of clever effects, synth rises and instrument samples added, Odette ends up being a remarkable example of stripped back peak time house. Diynamic man H.O.S.H provides two takes on Odette and both prove to be essential listening. Based around an understated, loose drumtrack and pushalong bass his remix uses a palette of layered vocal snippets to work towards a trippy crescendo while his dub remix holds back enough of the vox to keep the vocal phobic from getting lairy. The decidedly trippy percussive house builder Nolan and sun-soaked deepness of Miss K round off what is an unmissable summer EP from the Italian duo and Audiofly's Supernature imprint, who have hit home yet again.
