Ever since we heard the Dual Shaman track Ocean Breeze we had to make sure it got a vinyl release. The tracks amazing melodies and dynamics are best suited to hear on the black gold. Released originally on the wonderfull digital only label Wide Angle from Canada, we licensed the track and thought it was a good idea to find some nice remixers to rework this stunning piece of music from the talented Rumanian duo. TJ Kong & Nunos Dos Santos released their critically acclaimed debutalbum After Dark, My Sweet on Compost in june. It is allready a contender for the 2010 yearlists and we are extremely happy they found the time to do their remixduties for Ocean Breeze. And what an epic remix it has become. As usual they take their time to build tension with a long intro waving new sounds around the original theme. It takes almost 3 minutes before the first kickdrum drops, but when it does: all bets are off. A hooverbass takes over for melodic mayhem on the floor. Traum and Trapez wunderkind Roland M. Dill goes very, very deep into the ocean with his first interpretation. This slow builder, with atmospheric melodies, layers of background noises and unusual percussion is perfect for the very early or very late hours of the night.
