"In 1988 two masterminds of House Music of Chicago, Rick Siepak and Steve ‘Silk’ Hurley wrote this fantastic song, which became and instant hit and later a house music classic. Time has made this classic gone bigger and bigger and become a collector’s record. Nearly 20 years later, in 2008, two Italian producers decided to bring Night Moves back to live giving to it a contemporary twist.
Dj Eako and Robert Livesu together with Ezara Sanders revamp Night Moves into an electric house track cleverly using the original elements. The Club Mix recreates the original spirit of the track having a real house taste. Nice house beat and funky bass line plus the vocals. On EKD Mix and Elektro Dub Eako and Livesu transform Night Moves into an electro house track. Driving rhythm, punchy bass and edgy electronic synths work really well with the voice. These two tracks will work really well for those electro house freaks adding an original element to any set, thanks to the evoking power of the vocal lines.
On the remixing side of this project we have three big names: Deep Josh, Henri Josh and Sheldon Romero. On the vinyl edition you can find Deep Josh’s remix on his personal Deep House style. A remix with a lot of groove, nice soft bed and a great acid line that brings back the acid spirit of Night Moves.
On Digital donwload you can find two completely different remixes. Sheldon Romero goes for a classic approach to Night Moves, achieving a great result respecting original’s spirit. On his two versions Vocal and Instrumental, Sheldon gives the track a great house feeling with a catchy key melody, the groovy rhythm, the percussion and a bright arpeggio. We were missing a tribal cut in this release. Henri Josh works the drums doing a tribal iberican approach to Night Moves."
