The band that started it all for Ibadan makes another important appearance that shaped the Ibadan label. Originally produced by one of the kings of House, Marshall Jefferson, this time around another not so shabby producer by the name of David Morales mans the faders and knobs for the triad out of Chicago. 'My Peace Of Heaven' makes several appearances throughout the Ibadan catalog; a testament to the demand and quality of House with a feeling. Morales's influence on the original My Peace Of Heaven (Demo Vocal Mix)', is as evident as day. Before he was known as a top-jock his mixing skills were sought after by many, including Ten City who enlisted his talents to snazz up their track with a proper song structure but stretched out the 10 minute mark for the DJs. Just to set the record straight (no pun intended), this version of My Peace of Heaven (Spiritual Life Demo Dub)' is not the same as the similarly titled version on Ibadan Records 008. That being said, many will immediately notice Joe Claussell's influence on the track. His soft spot for cohesive rhythms extended intro which fit into his own personal style of Djing, shine through on what is arguably the best mix of, My Peace Of Heaven'.
