All Good Funk Alliance's feel good tune "Man With A Jam Plan," featuring the hyperactive vocals of Rubber Johnson, proved to be quite a hit for Super Hi-Fi Recordings. Thus the label enlisted a few close confidants to mangle the track with their best intentions in turn creating a trio of hot shot remixes. From the land of OZ the aforementioned Rubber Johnson re-imagined their own lyrical flow, pushing up the BPM and the intensity. A well-placed wobbly bass line and groovy effects make for a lethal party track. In addition to the vocal version you'll also find a dancefloor-worthy instrumental and an extra-deadly Beats tool. Next we turn to Discofari, hailing from the mountains of British Columbia. These crafty Canadians turn in a really unique future boogie remix that will be quite the stand out in any DJ set. The BC-connection continues with Vancouver's Right Hand Barber who impressed Super Hi-Fi with his remix of LMFAO's "I'm In Miami Bitch." Here the track gets all rave-tastic, bringing out an unexpected side of "Man With A Jam Plan" that should inspire lots of glowsticks to swirl in circular motions. Proper!
Kraak & Smaak Great release! The Rubber Johnson Club Mix is in the bag.
Dylan Rhymes The Right Hand Barber mix is really cool.
Ursula 1000 (ESL Music) Sweet!
AK1200 (DJ, US) Heavy! Perfect timing for my main stage breaks set at Future Sound of Breaks in Miami.
David Clough (Mixmag Breaks Reviewer) Great release, all tunes are rocking. Will review for Mixmag.
Dan Aux (George FM, New Zealand) This is freakin DOPE! I love the big ass bass and funky rhythms. Another winner.
Checkpoint Charlie (MyCuppaT Blog) - "Wow - just stunning, huge breakbeat house tunes, laced with unbelievable funk. The Right Hand Barber mix is the one i'll be slamming tonight, but they are all so, so good! I love AGFA, but have never really been able to play much in my house sets. I will be able to now. Brilliantly bouncy, amazing basslines, sweet vocals - just superb!"
