Having dropped their dynamite debut album back in 2011 theres been no stopping the Brookes Brothers since, touring the world and with a constant influx of remix work thatd make most others run for cover. Now as we head into the closing stages of 2012, Brookes are ready to drop one last dance to see off the year in typically bombastic style. Fire in the hole!Vocoded lyrics of Haz-Mat drench the sun-kissed intro of Loveline as smooth power chords set us up for some pure unadulterated mayhem as only they know how. Dropping furiously into possibly their sleaziest bassline yet, this is a huge piece of good time, disco-infused beats and bass thatll ramp up any party. Ladies will sway, boys will march while the vocals roll over the top of this slick slice that could only be by the Brookes Brothers. Yet more proof that they rule the roost when it comes to beautifully musical but big room drum & bass.Moving on and the boys lose the disco vibe, instead opting for The Blues. Drawing influence from the original work song sample things get grimey for the floor with smashing drums and a very welcome smattering of trademark Brookes synth stabs. Its when the killer funked-out b-line thuds in that it really takes shape though in an undisputed king of the rollers. Absolute belter!
