Deep, crispy and hauntingly beautiful is how we describe Robert Solheim’s second solo release Love and Vinyls on Aquavit Records. From his first release on Origo Sound back in 1997 his love for classic synth's like the Tb303 and Jupiter 8 has always been present and on this release, most of the sounds come from his own software clone of the latter, called The Rubiter Ate.
love and Vinyls takes you on a wild ride sweeping softly through deep organic sounds into acid–house. Including remixes from Shaka, who delivers and an excellent version with elements of jazz and beautiful piano chords and melodies, and Baldo, who gives us a beautiful more stripped down version with an exciting build-up perfect for late club nights. This Ep is as much a release for your listening pleasure at home as it is for the dance floor
