Alessio Mereu (CMYK, Confused, Harthouse) and Signor Andreoni (TuningSpork, Lo-Fi Stereo) team up once again as Bunkers. These Italian gentlemen are clearly on a roll, offering their third release in just a handful of months (check their first two EPs on Suara and T-Bet). “Lost in the Red Room” is a perky, stomping number with some hypnotic, dubbed out vocal clips, created on the template of old school house but with obvious forward-thinking production. “Barajas” is even more wild and percussion-heavy, with an onslaught of cowbell that would make “Don’t Fear the Reaper” jealous. “Here Again”, exclusive to Beatport.com, answers the question that has been puzzling man for over one and a half decades: What if Enya made rave music instead of new age?
