This three track ep sets off with the title track Lost In Shangri-La, sweeping beats, swaying melodies and twisted male vox samples push this one on, as layers of crunching percussion and sweet melodies lift it amid a flurry of filtering pads and underlying gliding female vocals. TOP STUFF! Water and Suns is next up.. with a chunky groove, lots of delayed drums and a chuggy little bass. bright underlying melodies are offset by a deeper wooden knock melody, as more swirling pads grip hold. to close up the EP B Side U is a more percussive cut, with a round revolving bass. simple organs and dark stabbs lead to a spacey drop, before it all goes dark n deep again. three absolute stunners.
