The Solarity boys are riding on the crest of a wave right now after exploding into life on Anjunadeep with the heavy grooving dancefloor destroyer that is Terminal 6, one of the highlights to be lifted from the recent Anjunabeats Volume 7 compilation. With that in mind, Alfie and Nick have conjured up a couple of tranquil proggers on this double A-side release, their third on the label. Ideal as an early-setter, Logger Riddem leads the way on this release with its ghostly, peaceful interludes, loopy effects and easy flowing sounds. Equally easy on the ear is the floaty Mantis; with its gliding, string-led intro, it drops back on top of a light, relaxed groove, warm sheeny synths and stuttery vocal cuts, for a somewhat less intense, but by no means less enjoyable listening experience.
