First Album from artist Simon Firth and we're proud to have it on PTR.
Title track Lemon Saturn in a down-tempo number with impeccable production and brilliant execution.
Spaceport is an engaging broken-beat track that sucks you in and keeps you guessing. Wonderful to chill to.
Jam is a progressive breaks track with heavy electro influences and a healthy does of acidic 303 running through it.
Snowblind really pushes the boundaries. Almost progressive dub-step, definitely DnB and sometimes down-tempo. Definitely one to check out.
Carousel is a progressive breaks track that is deceivingly full of tension. a driving background melody really puts a feverish pace to the tone of the track.
Midnight Sun breaks the album loose and runs head-on into progressive house territory. A sense of urgency in the melody really pulls the listener in on this one.
Underworld is another progressive house jaunt. I can't figure out if that just happens to be the track title or if it's an homage to Underworld. Lots of elements in this one remind me of their early works.
The 12 Nights of Summer really wraps up the album well. Its a very well composed progressive house track that just pulls the listener along on it's journey.
