Marco Baileys latest release for Tronic, Ramblas, sees him turn in two tracks of essential big room, festival bangers. Ramblas is remarkable in its simplicity a simple drum loop and a delayed synth pluck are skilfully combined with a liquid sub-bass which drops and kicks at just the right times. As it builds, the track becomes denser but continues to drop down to the bare essentials in tantalizing fashion. Last Dance treads a similarly simple path. Frenetic percussion and warm bass roll underneath a gently delayed, dubby stab that progressively opens up into a striking lead sound via some clever ADSR trickery.
