Already supported by : Daniel Sanchez, Luca Agnelli, John Selway, Slam, Tom Hades & Jeroen Search It is our goal to promote music from other producers who are acquainted with the label and whose sounds and talent we admire. The tracks of Stevie P are an extension of his impeccable production skill and style. This artist effectively plays the puppeteer to anyone listening; manipulating and leaving no limbs to rest. Kwickdrum digs in right away with a bottom-heavy bounce that rolls unstoppably, creeping in with an understated kick drum. The percussion flourishes and a crescendo of chords lend a warm touch to it as stray noises and samples come from every angle. But dont touch the volume dial just yet, because things are about to get heavy. Chords rise to create a spinning frenzy, a peak time moment of madness that is seemingly never ending. With the gentlest touch the filters are opened and eased into the bass register and before you know it, youre in deep. Hi Tec Soul begins with bumping, slightly hazardous drums and electronic pulses. A deep but steady bass alongside of morphing and mutating sounds. His drum work supports the rhythm with sharp attacks while analog tones are intensifying. This track has a bigger punch and rolling bass line, with a deeply spoken male vocal saying Hi Tec Soul. His approach is self-assured and somehow deeply funky. With bouncing, warm chords and a building pumping synth noise, title track Lushed will fill a room with distorted deep sounds and overwhelming energy. Its poisonous cycles of highs and lows and ins and outs keep its dancers in a metric utopia until the very end. Its an undeniable invocation to get in touch with ones inner freak. It comes packed with energy, euphoric synths, big builds and even bigger drops! Vestige keeps the warm bounce afloat and introduces a vocal echo bringing deeper melodies into swing. The track seems to build up layers upon layers, paving the way for a break out of melodic house charms that arrive. It doesnt force its emotions upon you; it just filters and amplifies your state of mind with a happy, warm piano tune that builds slowly. Despite a certain consistency of mood, theres something special about Stevie Ps music, even at its most intense every track invents its own world and operates according to its own logic. Certain sounds and motifs occur and reoccur - drums, faraway voices, gleaming keyboards and jazzy synths. These combinations of disparate styles all flow together like the colors of a spectrum. While some only go skin deep; this one goes deeper with a sense of detail and abstractness. There is something in this musical package for everyone and it will definitely thrill you!
