KR001v is wildly diverse techno showcasing KRecordings artists, remixed by a few of our favorite heroes, than put to wax.Side A: Angel Alanis reworks Mathew Anderson's "Wrist" track by taking it from the big room to the warehouse with Mat's question "Are you listening?" becoming a declarative statement. 214 aka J. Alvarez' s "Tulum" is remixed by long time NYC producer Elliot Taub aka Ulysses and 1/2 of the Neurotic Drum Band with John Selway. Ulysses takes the Jamaican dub influence to Italy for some Italio-disco lessons.Side B: opens with Seattle's own RyanMath remixing Naturebot's "Baby, I'm taking you back" which reels back a bit with 4 to the floor sensibility. Last, but never least, Gunnar Lockwood's "Abrader" remixed by Bangkok's own Mix Architekt adds a woozy groove and sonic atmospherics.Supporting:Sean Deason - Rating : 9 / 10Best Mix : Mathew Anderson - Wrist (Angel Alanis Remix)Comment : KILLER TRACK!! Alvarez - Tulum (Ulysses Remix)Comment : The Ulysses remix is like a divine klaxon, awakening my inner soul to the joy and wonder that exists in this world. The other remixes are real fun, too.
