Cimelde Records is very happy to present an original EP from Berlin based New Zealander, Simon Beeston. Since arriving in Berlin five years ago, Simon has made his mark with successful releases and remixes on a range of labels including Highgrade Records, Nordik Net and District of Corruption. His tracks have found support from a wide range of DJs, and he has also graced the decks of clubs all over Europe, and of course, at home in Berlin. The title track, 'Klingfilm' is a warm, bass driven roller that combines crackling percussion with a series of melodic synth stabs and spooky atmospheres. 'Tucan Highway' is a slightly darker affair that still retains a bouncy percussive character and bionic energy in the bass and synth work. Finally, Sphinx Control brings a slightly melancholic mood with a spacious, three dimensional soundscape of nagging other worldly melody and vocals. All three tracks are designed to go right to the heart of the club.
