The first release of 2012 comes from American-born talent Nathan Kozlowski, better known as Falcon. After delivering an impressive remix of Redstar's "The Surface" last year, we are glad to welcome him back for a single release. "Kestrel" is a no-frills uplifting trancer that ticks all the right boxes. Driving synths, pumping drums, acids galore, topped off with a beautiful soaring lead, all of which flow perfectly from start to finish. On remix duties and returning the favor is Redstar, who adds a modern-yet-oldschool feel. With lush pads, hypnotic hooks and a new theme, Red takes the track in a rather different direction.
