This strong Hungarian duo, consisting of regular Silk contributor Elfsong, and Arrival's very own label manager Aeron Aether, graced us with "Sylleptica" on Silk Digital about a year back. Their new original, "Kaivalya," starts out with subtle breaks and soothing bell melodies. A deep, warm bassline soon appears, while gorgeous pad lines float above the rest of the elements. In the masterful break, the main arpeggio synth riff is enhanced by a wealth of enjoyable sonic textures. Also known for his talent for breaks, UK producer Fretwell's remix consists of a strong breakbeat with driving percussion lines, mesmerizing pad sweeps, and a vast array of compelling sound effects. Polish artist Monojoke delivers the second and final remix. Also centered on a breakbeat rhythm, the melodies in this mix are quite beautiful, such as the high strings. The vocal stabs that appear throughout the tune also add a bit of spice.
