Tom Basger is a German music producer based near Ratisbona, Bavaria.
He has developed a love for music, and has been inspired by artists' such as Paul Oakenfold, Jean Michel Jarre, and Chris Cowie. Tom became interested in electronic music during the summer of 1995 while experimenting with the Korg-X5 synth and the FastTracker. He began working as a resident DJ in the local clubs and produced several remixes, bootlegs, and mash-ups that created increased interest and airplay in his music career.
In 2003, Tom decided to focus more on the pure audio production process and resigned from his position as a resident DJ. He began working under various pseudonyms, and released different tracks and remixes in genres like Dance, Pop, Drum and Bass, and Ambient-Chillout.
In May of 2010, Tom decided to come back to the music genre he grew up with, and began working under the pseudonym Tom Basger. Today, his main genres are Tech and Progressive Trance, House and Electro. He presented his first release of his own podcast on Soundcloud called 'Binary Overdose' in 2011. Recently, Tom has developed an interest in creating a deeper and more progressive sound in his music genre.
