Snuff Crew, the masked German duo who keep their identities hidden and look to focus all attention on the music and the dancefloor. Heavily and historically influenced by Chicago and Acid House, the Crew's releases for Killekill, Skylax, International Deejay Gigolo's, Rush Hour, Playhouse and their very own Snuff Trax, look to bring the fun back to the dancefloor, as do their energetic 'jackin'' live shows.
Snuff Crew's debut for SCI+TEC sees us transported back to the groundbreaking days, when 707 and 303 were the backbone of this fresh new electronic sound. "Jack The Bass" is Snuff Crew´s very own Re-Interpretation of the Farley Jackmaster Funk classic (released in 1985 on Trax Records). Raw, stripped beats, simple growling basslines, moody vocals and a healthy dose of Acid, make this track and "Rumble" essential fresh homages, to those early defining days of House.
