Luca Bacchetti is back on Ovum with the follow up to the Incredible No Time To Get Back EP. With today's release we find Bacchetti dropping some house. In a time where we are being swamped with cloned house cuts, its refreshing for us to hear a release, with that extra something... A Side 'Its Jazzy' opens with crisp snare rolls and and hats. Its skippy, upbeat tempo is made for the feet, and with the vocal drifting in a out and the bright ride prepares us for the toms. The break is dramatic, and its excellent story telling vocal, just excites us more for when the percussion drops back in. On the flip we have the stunning 'Lovemaking'. Matching traditional percussive sounds with techy elements, it opens in fine style. Its warm, yet powerful synths, ebb and flow, creating a dramatic feel. The break is announced with the drop of lush, soft keys which together with its vocal sample, build and then drop back into those early synth stabs. As with all carnal rituals, we build, drop and then peak again... a true soundtrack.
