Behind the alias Monoder we can find Jussi-Pekka, a veteran Finish producer with works edited in labels such as Dessous, Pokerflat, Statra, or in his great Frozen North Recordings. "Hunger Forest" (Pakkas Levyt, 2009) the album that drew our attention, and also his first LP as Monoder, the alias he uses to let loose his most inner and personal sounds. A proof of that is his work for AvantRoots. In the "Isolation-Solitude Ep" we encounter 4 totally different cuts: modern production mixed with vintage sounds in "Gla6", obscurity and redundancy in "Insolatomnia", minimalism and purity in "Luuhouse", and old school electro-beats in the opening track for this Ep "Isolation-Solitude". ...
