Our favorite Peruvian purveyor of swanky house music darkness, Alvaro Ernesto, has been impressing with his deep, tribal rhythms over rolling bass lines. This latest effort, "Inside My Soul," is no different. It's deliciously heavy on the low end, with a well-paced build and effective vocal sample stabs leading the way. A pair of powerful remixes come from the man of the moment, Pezzner (Freerange, Urban Torque), who rebrandishes "Inside My Soul" in his unique, pulsating style. It's a version filled with rising energy climaxing in a melodic synth solo and rhythmic vocal hits. A full version and a dirty, rumbling dub are presented here for your approval. Finally, the man behind Chillin Music, Rob Slac, delivers an infectious tech-funk reworking balanced by a distorted bassline and brilliant sweeps. The mix builds into a dark, twisted monster of loopy funk and cut-up voices. And New to the production arena our friends Rodriguez & McCutchan from Germany offer up a nice Teched out version of Inside my soul. We hope you enjoy!
