Ohm Hourani returns to Mile End records with a brand new original EP. The Jordanian born DJ/producer who settled in Montreal a few years ago to pursue his passion for music. His 'Last Night Gambler' was a big record for the label last year and now he returns with a brand new single in the shape of 'Insane'. The release kicks off with the original version, a taut and atmospheric, slow builder of a track that creates a deep and spacious vibe with it mixes of haunting FX, rolling drums and a memorable vocal. The original is followed by a remix from Sweden's Mikael Nordgren AKA Tiger Stripes, a producer best know for his releases on labels such as Get Physical, My Favorite Robot, Noir & Toolroom. Here Nordgren delivers a superb reworking of 'Insane' powered with a churning bassline, hooky yet subtle synth riffs and rolling percussion. To complete the package fellow Montreal producer Jimmy Be steps up with a remix that heads straight for the floor, lifting things into big room tech house territory.
