John Dahlbacks latest Mutants signing keeps it Scandinavian in quite some style...
Well, the Swedish House Mafia may be about to go their separate ways, but the Scandinavian dance movement shows little sign of slowing with the exciting Mutants debut of Copenhagens Faustix.
Faustix recently dipped his toe in Mutant waters with a remix of their last release, Greg Cerrones Acid Beat, but this marks his first, full production for the label and, by Jove, what a way to kick things off! He may already have 12 releases under his Danish belt (at the tender age of just 23), but Inner Freak is his undoubted coming of age. Its truly an honour to join the Mutants family, enthuses Faustix, You cant believe how excited I am that Inner Freak has found such a renowned and respected home.
Freak is electro-house at its infectious best, a fusion of grinding bass-line, lazer-style FX and memorable vocal courtesy of Rosa Skotte. Its one of those rare, instantly memorable tunes that stays long in the head after only a single listen; a big-room-Balearic-festival soundtrack if ever there was one, so expect to hear a lot more of it - and Faustix -this summer!
Faustix Feat. Rosa Skotte - Inner Freak is out 3rd September exclusively at Beatport and 17th September on iTunes and all other DMS
