Another new comer in Timur Shafiev makes his debut on the Interstate Recordings imprint with the excellent Infarct. Centering around a divine lead synth which is an ever present throughout the track, Infarct plays host to some superb percussion arrangements, a big bottom end and some lovely melodic fillers that all fuse together perfectly when the track is in full flow. Also making his debut on Interstate is Arcalis, with a thumping interpretation made with a dance-floor in mind. Leaving the delicate sound of the original behind for something a little more banging, Arcalis serves up a fine take which provides a perfect foil for the slower, original mix.
