Rekluse continues its strong run of form with the first offering from a brand new production identity, backed with two seriously strong remixes from one of our favourite producers of 2011, Luigi Madonna...
Lumik is the darker side of Ryan Thompson and James Dutton, a new alter-ego theyve created to showcase a creepier side to their bass-heavy grooves. Of course both producers are no strangers to our Excentric world, weve already seen their lighter side on our Tribal Rage label with their Lost In Dubai EP, supported by Carl Cox, Slam, Joseph Capriati, Gary Beck, Karotte and Bart Skils amongst others. The pairs remix of Henry Vons Nightwatchman found heavy duty support in Marco Carola and we still cant stop playing Jamess Muji track from our Reklusives compilation last year. Between them theyve also released on a variety of esteemed labels; Gregor Treshers Break New Soil, Reset Robots Roomba Music, Tom Buddens Alive Recordings , Great Stuff and Craft Music have all been home to their XL productions. I Feel The Sound is a huge siren led slab of Techno that feels perfectly at home amongst Rekluses repertoire of dance-floor weapons as it has been in Fergies sets over the summer.
Luigi Madonna returns to Rekluse following his massive Reset track that found support over the summer in Richie Hawtin, Adam Beyer, Marco Carola and Miss Kittin to name just four. Ahead of two special EPs forthcoming on Excentric Muzik before the year is out, here he delivers two hypnotic takes on the original, both dark, driven and fully dance-floor focussed.
DJ Support: Adam Beyer, Slam, Cristian Varela, Alan Fitzpatrick, Joseph Capriati, Spektre, Uto Karem, Stephan Bodzin, Pan-Pot, Sharam, Umek, Marco Bailey, Tom Hades, Karotte, Anton Pieete, Sasha Carassi, Speedy J, Sian, Anderson Noise, Meat Katie, Loco & Jam, Tim Richards...
