Hot on the heels of their latest release on Drumcode, Slam's Paragraph label delivers 2 stunning remixes of last years dancefloor destroyer, Hot Knives. The original was a huge hit with the likes of Dubfire, Adam Beyer, Anja Schneider and many more; it was, and still is, a staple part of the world's biggest Techno DJ's sets. The Slam boys are continuing their roll at the moment as they leap from strength to strength with their latest remixes and production work, and with their illustrious Paragraph imprint. First up, it seems only fitting that Slam themselves should rework what has been one of Paragraphs most successful tracks to date. They dont disappoint as they strip the track to its bare bones and deliver a jacking slice of contemporary dancefloor techno, with its trademark signatures and awesome break still intact. Meanwhile, fellow Glaswegian Gary Beck delivers his dark and tripped out take on the original Hot Knives, with sinister synth-lines and punchy snare rolls taking the track in a new direction altogether. All in all, 2 huge techno monsters for your enjoyment. ENJOY !!!!!
