Enlisting New York techno veteran Dietrich Schoenemann on the title track, the trio delivers a sleek combo of pure analog bass and metallic percussion, resulting in an unrelenting yet stripped-down futuristic club workout. Overseeing remix duties is techno legend Bryan Zentz. His first of two solutions, the Empty Vessel Dub dives deep into late-night territory, employing the irresistible bass line of the original and embellishing it with sparse synth work and echoing atmospheres to stunning effect. As a digital bonus, Zentz offers up the Kenosis Shuffle Mix, providing added bounce with a boosted low-end while taking a house-leaning approach in the drum department and adding Detroit-style stabs for good measure.
