Digital Insomnia Music Group is proud to present our sixth release under Digital Insomnia Groove; where Progressive Trance meets Progressive House. Morttagua is a new, upcoming, Progressive House / Trance artist, originating from Rio de Janeiro, Brazil. Morttagua's love for electronic music comes from his love of open-air raves that he attends on a regular basis, as a hard-core party machine. 'Phase One' comprises of three superbly crafted mixes. Half Horizon, came from the inspiration of the beautiful home surroundings of Copacabana and Ipanema, Rio de Janeiro; watching the amazing sunsets, or simply walking around is a rush of emotions, provided by the contrast of Sea, Mountains, Forest and Megalopolis. This inspiration is felt within the original composition, where a filtered uplifting lead is driven by a powerful, progressive bass line, and clean cut percussion, constantly driving and building to an epic portamento crescendo; which then takes the listener on a further journey through-out the entire mix, rebuilding the chord progressions. The Jady Synthman remix starts with emotional arpeggiations and simplistic rhythms, until the first drop where you are met with a powerful 'Complextro' synth/bass drive. The breakdown is met with simplicity, and then opens up in the latter half of the track where all of the tracks elements meet to provide an epic result. Art Inc., once again smashes the remixing with a perfectly crafted, warm, bass driven, summer uplifter. Nothing too complex about the rhythm here, but the track is driven by uplifting goodness, leaving you feeling refreshed and wanting more.
