Ready to start somethin'? Well, continue to white-knuckle it, folks, because up-and-comer Angi3 has got a few choice words for the rest of us in her debut single "Get Out My Way". Produced and co-penned by longtime collaborator Good Goose, the breakout rap track flirts with Angi3's split personality as she walks the line yet again between pop princess and raunchy emcee. "Get Out My Way" is Angi3's emergence as a solo artist, fresh from the split of her pop band Menya, a NewYork Post artist-to-watch and darling of critic Robert Christgau. During her former group's trajectory, the Harrisburg, PA native turned Brooklynite toured the USA, became a mainstay in the DIY scene, and enjoyed a myriad of song placements on MTV's hit show Jersey Shore. Over the past year, Angi3 found herself starting from square one and began writing in the studio obsessively. What came out is a series of pop and hip hop songs, of which Angi3's brazen and belligerent anthem (or war song, depending on the day) "Get Out My Way" leads, torch in hand.
